Outside Technical Salesperson - Toronto

 
 

Quantum Sales is a fast-growing manufacturer’s representative in the high-tech industry. The manufacturers we represent are international market leaders. We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Salesperson to call on customers in southern Ontario. The role is to develop and maintain business relationships while promoting products and solutions from Quantum’s product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an excellent technical knowledge of our products, solutions and abilities and be able to explain these to our customers.

  • Present to customers; technical roadmaps and updates from our principals.

  • Be “the voice of the customer” at our principals.

  • Prospect potential customers and develop leads.

  • Participate in supplier training and business reviews.

  • Manage and update in-house and supplier CRM tools.

  • Collaborate, develop and execute sales strategies to help drive design wins and meet sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Located in or near the Greater Toronto Area or Kitchener Waterloo

  • A technologist or bachelor’s degree in an electronics-related field.

  • 2 years+ of industry experience.

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.

  • Highly motivated self-starter.

  • Be a solid team player.

  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
